EduNxtAI ("us", "we", or "our") operates the EduNxtAI mobile application and web platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information when you use our Service.

  • Parent/Guardian Information: Full name, Email address, Mobile phone number, Password (encrypted), Country/Region.
  • Student Information: Student's first name and last name, Date of birth, Gender, Educational details (board, standard/grade, stream), Preferred language, Profile picture (optional).

1.1.2 Payment Information

  • Payment method details (processed by third-party payment gateways)
  • Transaction history, Billing address (if applicable)
  • Note: We do not store complete credit card or payment card information. Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers (Razorpay, UPI payment systems).

1.1.3 User-Generated Content

  • Question reports and feedback, Report descriptions and issue details
  • Communication with support team, User preferences and settings

1.2 Information Automatically Collected

1.2.1 Usage Data

  • Exam attempts and results, Questions answered and response patterns
  • Time spent on questions and exams, Study progress and performance analytics
  • Login timestamps and session duration, Feature usage patterns

1.2.2 Device Information

  • Device type, model, and operating system, Unique device identifiers
  • Mobile network information, IP address
  • Browser type and version (for web access), Time zone and language settings

1.2.3 Location Data

  • Approximate location based on IP address, Country and region information
  • We do NOT collect precise GPS location data

  • Transaction confirmation data, Payment status and timestamps, Payment method metadata (not full card details).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To Provide and Maintain the Service: Create and manage user accounts, Authenticate users, Process exam attempts, Track student progress, Provide personalized recommendations, Generate analytics.
  • To Process Payments: Process subscription payments, Issue invoices, Detect fraud, Manage refunds.
  • To Communicate with You: Send transactional emails, Notify about results, Respond to support inquiries, Send updates.
  • To Improve Our Service: Analyze usage patterns, Identify technical issues, Develop new features, Improve content.
  • For Security and Legal Compliance: Detect fraud, Enforce Terms, Comply with legal obligations, Protect rights and safety.

3. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active.
  • Account Deletion: Personal identification information is deleted within 30 days. Exam history may be retained in anonymized form. Billing records kept for 7 years. Backups for 90 days.
  • Legal Retention: Information may be retained longer if required by law or legal proceedings.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • We Do NOT Sell Your Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for marketing purposes.
  • Service Providers: We share data with providers like AWS/Google Cloud (hosting), Razorpay/UPI (payments), Firebase (auth), SendGrid/AWS SES (email), Google Analytics.
  • Business Transfers: Data may be transferred in a merger or acquisition, with notice.
  • Legal Requirements: We disclose info if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights/safety.
  • Aggregated Data: We may share anonymized data for research and analysis.

5. Data Security

  • Security Measures: Encryption (HTTPS/TLS, bcrypt), Access Controls, Secure Storage, Regular Audits, Monitoring, Backups.
  • Limitations: No method is 100% secure. You are responsible for password confidentiality and logging out.
  • Data Breach Notification: We will notify affected users within 72 hours of a breach where legally required.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and Correction: Access your data, Correct inaccuracies, Update profile, Request data copy.
  • Deletion: Delete account and data (subject to retention rules). Contact support@edunxtai.info.
  • Marketing: Opt-out via "Unsubscribe" or settings. Essential service emails cannot be opted out.
  • Cookies: Manage via browser settings.
  • Do Not Track: We do not respond to DNT signals.

7. Children's Privacy

  • Parental Consent: Service intended for students under parental supervision. Users under 18 must have parent-managed accounts. Verifiable consent required.
  • Information from Minors: Minimal info collected. Parents can review/delete child's info.
  • Parental Control: Parents can access, modify, delete profiles/accounts, and monitor activity. Contact support@edunxtai.info.

8. International Data Transfers

Primary servers in India. Data may be transferred to other countries with different laws. We ensure compliance and security. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

We are not responsible for privacy practices of third-party sites linked. Integrations include Firebase (Google Privacy Policy), Razorpay (Razorpay Privacy Policy), Google Analytics.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes notified via page update, email, or in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Data Protection Rights (For Indian Users)

Rights under Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 include Access, Correction, Erasure, Grievance Redressal, Nomination. Contact Grievance Officer.
